My name is Brian Glantz, Director of the Phoenix School in Maitland, Florida.  I would like  to introduce myself and what our school has to offer homeschool families.

I am a former homeschool parent educator and cooperative coordinator.  My experience includes over seventeen years experience as a teacher, administrator and educational consultant. Along with my secondary specialist and Doctoral candidate, Mr. Tom Vitale, I have conducted numerous workshops for parents and teachers.  Workshop topics have included Assessment, Project and Problem Based Learning, and Multiage Instruction.  

The Phoenix School will offer the following courses and services to homeschool families for the 2007-2008 school year:

Educational Trips:
The Phoenix School will be traveling to Philadelphia and New England to get a rich historical perspective of Colonial America leading to the Revolution.  This trip is open to both Phoenix School students and homeschoolers. Elementary students must be escorted by a parent or legal guardian.
